I have something super exciting to talk to you about today - wash off (halal) nail polish from *Safe Nails ! A few years ago, for a while I stopped wearing nail polish all together - I just couldn't deal with the hassle of it. As a Muslim woman I need to pray 5 times a day, and each time I pray I need to wash before (wudu) this involves washing the hands and the water must touch the nail beds in order to cleanse them - unfortunately nail polish prevents this! I just found it was too much hassle trying to paint my nails for an evening out or a special occasion because I would have to remove it so soon! The one time I could paint my nails was on my monthly period as thats when I dont have to pray - but the problem there was that even after I removed the nail polish, sometimes there was residue left over. One time, I changed my nail colour several times throughout the week and by the end of the week my nail beds were so sore ( a quick google search quickly taught me that this was an after affect of too much acetone from the nail polish remover!)
Now this is why I love this new wash off nail polish from Safe Nails! It's easy to wash off - just dip your nails in warm water or run them under the hot water tap and then rub them at the same time to remove the polish! Now you might be thinking, "well what if I just go to wash my hands and then it just comes off?!" well the great thing is it doesn't come off unless you actually rub it when its wet. If you want extra protection, you can always add the extra top coat which will stop the nail polish from coming off! The other great thing about this nail polish is that if you accidentally spill any or get it onto your clothes then its super easy to remove - you can just scratch it or wash it off when it dries, You can watch the video clip below from my youtube video to see it in action!
Now aside from being amazingly easy to remove - the nail polish doesn't contain any harsh chemicals so it wont damage your nails or your nail beds in the long run! There 20 gorgeous colours to choose from; including glittery and metallic shades. The only downfall is that the colours don't have specific names so I don't have any way of directing you to certain shades. But you can see the full collection on the website here: www.safe-nails.com
